साना सानाभाइबहिनीहरुलाई शिक्षाको उजयालोबाट बञ्चित नगराउने तथा शिक्षाको उज्यालो प्रकाश फैलाउने उद्देश्यका साथ वि.सं. २०६७ सालमा विधिवत उद्घाटन गरी साउन ५ गते कक्षा एकको अनुमति पाई श्री नमुना प्राथमिक विद्यालयको नामबाट यस विद्यालयको स्थापना भएको हो । यस विद्यालयको नामाकरण स्थापना कालमा नमुना प्राथमिक विद्यालय रहेको र यस सवा क्षेत्र भित्र रहनु भएका स्थानीय शिक्षाप्रेमी कृष्ण प्रसाद पौडेलज्यूले ईटालीमा रही कामको सिलसिलामा दिवङ्गत हुनु भएका उहाँका ज्येष्ठ सुपुत्र स्व. रामजी पौडेलको स्मृतिमा विद्यालयको स्तरोन्नतिका लागि ३ कोठे पक्की भवन र ३३ थान डेस्कबेन्च हस्तान्तरण गर्नु भएकोले शिक्षा ऐन अनुसार विद्यालयको नामको पछाडी रामजी थपी मिति २०७५/०४/०१ गते देखि लागू हुने गरी श्री नमुना रामजी आधारभूत विद्यालय राखिएको हो । समयको माग र विकासको गतिसँगै अगाडि बढेको यस विद्यालयको संस्थापक प्रधानाध्यापक हुनुमा गर्व गर्दै अव आउने दिनहरुमा पनि स्थानीय समाजसेवी, बुद्धिजीविहरुको साथ र सहयोगको अपेक्षा गर्दै विद्यालयलाई हालको स्थिति सम्म पुर्याउन हातमा हात दिई सात दिने निवर्तमान तता संस्थापक अध्यक्ष रवि थापाज्यूलाई स्मरण गर्नुका साथै धन्यवाद दिन चाहन्छु । साथै स्थापना काल देखि विद्यालयलाई माया गर्ने सम्पूर्ण शिक्षाप्रेमी, समाजसेवि तथा बुद्धिजीविहरुमा उच्च कदर गर्न चाहन्छु । यस विद्यालयले विगतका वर्षहरुमा जस्तो शैक्षिक उपलब्धिहरु हासिल गर्न वर्तमान समयमा हाम्रा सामु थुप्रै समस्या र चुनौतीहरु रहेका छन् । शिक्षक दरबन्दीको कमी, अभिभावकहरुको नीजि विद्यालय तर्फको आकर्षण, विद्यालयप्रति स्थानीय समूदायको चासो घट्नु, आकर्षक भौतिक सामग्रीको कमी, खेलकुद सामग्रीको कमी आदि कारणहरुले गर्दा यस विद्यालयको अस्तित्व घट्दै गएको छ । यस्ता समस्याहरु सुल्झाउँदै शैक्षिक गुणस्तर कायम गर्न राज्यको एकल प्रयासले मात्र सम्भव हुँदैन । व्यवस्थापन समिति, शि.अ.सं., शिक्षक, अभिभावक र विद्यार्थीको सक्रिय पहलकदमी हुन जरुरी छ । सबैको सार्थक सहभागिता तथा जनचिन्ताले मात्र शैक्षिक गुणस्तर उकास्न सकिन्छ । विद्यालयले सञ्चालन गर्ने शैक्षिक क्रियाकलाप र यहाँबाट उत्पादित जनशक्तिको गुणस्तरलाई सापेक्ष रुपमा हेर्ने गरिन्छ । अन्त्यमा विद्यालयलाई हालको अवस्थामा ल्याउन सहयोग गर्नुहुने सम्पूर्ण सरोकारवालाहरु प्रति हार्दिक धन्यवाद व्यक्त गर्दै यस विद्यालयलाई थप उचाईमा पुर्याउन यस क्षेत्रका समाजसेवी, शिक्षाप्रेमी, बुद्धिजीवी, अभिभावक तथा विद्यार्थी भाइबहिनीहरुमा हार्दिक अपिल गर्दछु ।
With the noble objective of ensuring that young children are not deprived of the light of education and to spread that light far and wide, this school was established in the year 2067 BS under the name "Namuna Primary School," officially inaugurated with permission for Grade 1 obtained on Shrawan 5. Initially named Namuna Primary School, the institution was officially renamed "Shri Namuna Ramji Basic School" effective from Shrawan 1, 2075 BS, following education regulations. This change was made because local education enthusiast Mr. Krishna Prasad Paudel—who resided and worked in Italy—donated a 3-room concrete building and 33 sets of desk-benches for the school's upgrade in memory of his late eldest son, Sw. Ramji Paudel, who passed away while working abroad, allowing the addition of "Ramji" to the school's name.
Taking pride in being the founding Headmaster of this school that has progressed with the demands of time and development, I look forward to the continued support and cooperation of local social workers and intellectuals in the days ahead. I would like to express my gratitude and remember the immediate past and founding Chairman, Mr. Rabi Thapa, for walking hand-in-hand to bring the school to its current status. I also want to deeply appreciate all the education lovers, social workers, and intellectuals who have cherished and supported the school since its inception.
To achieve educational accomplishments like in past years, we currently face numerous problems and challenges. A shortage of teacher quotas, parents' attraction towards private schools, a decreasing local community interest in the school, a lack of attractive physical materials, and a shortage of sports equipment have created hurdles. Resolving such issues and maintaining educational quality is not possible through the sole efforts of the state alone. Active initiatives from the School Management Committee, PTA, teachers, parents, and students are essential. Educational quality can only be uplifted through everyone's meaningful participation and collective concern. The academic activities conducted by the school and the quality of human resources produced here are evaluated relative to these efforts.
Finally, extending my heartfelt thanks to all stakeholders who have helped bring the school to its present state, I earnestly appeal to all social workers, education lovers, intellectuals, parents, and students of this region to help take this school to even greater heights.
